Notes: - All A.Y. McDonald Ball & Plug Style Corporation Stops are available with a wide variety of outlet connections and are manufactured to meet or exceed the AWWA C800 (latest revision) standard, except where noted. - All A.Y. McDonald Ball & Plug Style Corporation Stops are designed to be used with all known tapping and drilling machines. For drilling and tapping machine adapters, except where noted see pages 78-79. - Each A.Y. McDonald Ball & Plug Style Corporation Stop is pressure tested prior to packaging. - Assembly is shipped with a color coded inlet thread protector - Green for AWWA/CC threads, Yellow for AWWA MNPT. - A.Y. McDonald 3/4” and 1” “G”, “H”, “K”, “Q”, “T”, “-22”, and 1 1/4” Q series compression and flare outlets use the same female screw plug. The 1 1/2” and 2” “G”, “Q”, “T”, and “-22” Series use special female screw plugs. - A.Y. McDonald 3/4” and 1” “-3G”, “-3Q”, “-33”, “-34”, “-44”, “-55”, and 1 1/2” “-33” are one size larger thread. Example: 3/4” “-33” is 1” AWWA flare nut thread. See chart pages 78-79. - Insert stiffeners are required for use in all PE applications.
