Also taken into consideration when sizing the series 780 pit assembly is the service line depth and the wide range of covers available and sold separately. 780 Series - Pit Assembly Series 715, 716, 780, 783, 7180, & 790 | Pit Assembly - Yoke, Flat Lid, & Coiled | Single, Dual & Tandem Risers Only for 5/8" to 1" Meters The A.Y. McDonald 715 series meter setter is designed for installation into your pit shell. Using your specific design criteria, the 715 series will provide the internal meter setting with valves, risers, and connections you call for. Pit diameter, wall thickness, and service line bury should be carefully considered when ordering the 715 series meter setter. Typical meter depth from the surface, or grade level, is 14", however you are in control when you apply this setter. The frame and cover selection for this setting will also affect the overall height of the 715 series. As these castings will alter the distance from grade level to centerline of installed meter, and top of meter pit.
